UNDERSTANDING SOWING AND REAPING
March 30. 1 Samuel ch 15-16
UNDERSATNDING SOWIWING AND REAPING
”Do not be deceived, God is not mocked [He will not allow Himself to be ridiculed, nor treated with contempt nor allow His precepts to be scornfully set aside]; for whatever a man sows, this and this only is what he will reap.“
Galatians 6:7 AMP
GOOD DAY: I have been asking the Holy Spirit to give full meaning of this sowing and reaping. I have encountered many people who are good but bad things happen to them. A man was a good worker when he was employed. He looked after his boss’ business with honesty and diligence. He later opened his own business and his workers were horrible. I kept wondering why he was reaping bad staff. Today, I heard the Spirit explain it to me and it unlocked a lot of experiences people had asked about. If you look at Luke 8:15, the soil is the heart of man. Whatever you sow in the heart of people is what you will reap in your own heart. Sow to foster love, joy, peace and other good feelings in the hearts of others, no matter what happens to you, outwardly it might look bad but it won't give you a bad feeling in the soul. It is actually in the soul that we feel the effect of things. Likewise, if you do good outwardly to people but with the intention of giving them poison in the soul, you too will reap the same. Sowing and reaping are soul or heart effects. A man has all things going well for him outwardly but he is not happy inwardly and he is anxious and feels lonely although he has people around him. He had sowed those feelings in people's hearts so he is getting them back. Be mindful of what your intentions are even when you are doing visibly good acts for someone because you will reap the fruit of your intentions. God is not mocked.
PRAY: Dear Lord, search my heart and remove any form of evil from me that I may not show evil into people’s lives.
