THE UNRECOGNIZED PROPHET IN YOU

”Your boast becomes a prophecy of a future failure. The higher you lift yourself up in pride, the harder you’ll fall in disgrace.“

GOOD DAY: When “Pride goes before destruction “ stuck to my mind, I was wondering what the Lord wanted to say to us, His people. I checked it in the bible in various versions and the TPT translation enlightened my spirit. I also remember the Yoruba adage that says “whoever pours water ahead will step on a wet floor”. Our attitude and lifestyle become a prophecy for our future. Prophets speak about what will be in future. You can see what your future will be by what you do now. A proud way of life leads to destruction. A life that disregards God is pride. You may be mouthing God yet you are proud if your lifestyle disregards Him. Many of the things we go through in life are results of attitudes we held on to. Two days ago, we saw that whatever we cling to will cling to us. You cling to pride, pride clings to you and produces destruction. You cling to obedience to God and that clings to you and produces life. As you read the bible, open your mind to see the implications of whatever you do and hold on to. Whatever you boast of must surely yield results. Some people boast that they never forgive and they must take revenge with all that they have in their power. This boast will lead to destruction as forgiveness will be far from them as well.
