JOLLY RIDE

”Look at the ships also, though they are so great and are driven by strong winds, are still directed by a very small rudder wherever the inclination of the pilot desires. So also the tongue is a small part of the body, and yet it boasts of great things. See how great a forest is set aflame by such a small fire!“

GOOD DAY: Just like the air and the sea,  life is trackless. The pilots of aircraft and ships decide where they are heading to before take-off and follow the GPRS to guide them on the reckless journey. Huge as the two of them are, the control rudder or tool that the pilot uses to direct their paths is very small. Such is a person’s life. It is trackless, the GPRS is the word of God. He has to decide where he is heading for. The control rudder is the tongue. The tongue controls the direction of your life. No matter the storm, you put your life on course by speaking what your destination is. You call those things which are not as though they were until they are. You are at your destination when those things are in reality. Keep this thought in your heart throughout the day minding your tongue knowing that it is giving direction to the trackless path to your destination. When your tongue is sound, your journey in life becomes a jolly ride. 

PRAY: Dear Lord, please put a control on my mouth that I may utter words of life under all conditions.
