BEWARE OF STUBBORN RESISTANCE TO A GOOD CAUSE.

”Their stubborn resistance came from the LORD and led them to wage war against Israel. Israel was then able to wipe them out as something reserved for God, without showing them any mercy. This was exactly what the LORD had commanded Moses.“‭ ‭Joshua‬ ‭11‬:‭20‬ ‭CEB‬‬

GOOD DAY: Many things are done that hurt nations and individuals both by individuals and organizations these days. Your right seems to be encroached upon and you are set to fight. Apologies are rendered and appeals for peace and round table talks are proposed by the offending person and the offended person refuses all and is stuck on fighting. Then one has to beware for the offended person or nation might be playing into destruction. If God gives you the grace to apologize and choose peace, you should be grateful. Of recent, I learnt a lesson from the Labour Congress in Nigeria. They were set for a demonstration against hard life in the nation. In the past, every appeal to avert a strike and demonstration would go unheeded and the military would come in and kill people to stop a mayhem. This time around, the government tried to appeal for peace but the Congress still chose to demonstrate. The police came out but only to give the demonstrators water and snacks to mellow the effect of the hot sun. The demonstration was not only peaceful (the first of its type in the country) there was the promise to keep peace and dialogue instead. when a person is stubbornly set for war despite all appeals, then God is setting the person up for disgrace. Always choose the love and peace alternative.

PRAY: Dear Lord, help me to hold my peace always and leave the battle to you. Help national leaders to choose peaceful resolution instead of military to resolve issues.
