TO LINK UP WITH GOD FOR INFORMATION 

”Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.“

GOOD DAY: It has taken me so long with lots of effort and emotional trauma to fulfill the above scripture. The problem with me and maybe with many people is that the contrary of the above scripture is common and looks like the normal that should be. After a long struggle with the help of the Holy Spirit, I stabilised on fixing my mind on the recommendations of Philippians 4:8 above. That became the center point of my thought and life. The things that fitted the above scripture were contained in the word of God. For example, it is good to be wealthy but is the way that you plan to get the wealth honourable, praiseworthy and of good repute? When it meets those criteria, then I have peace in my heart which means that is what God is speaking. When it does not, then that is information from the world. It steals my peace and it will land in death. Another typical issue we all have to deal with now is the world going into recession. I see a parallel world in the spirit realm in heaven where there is neither recession nor lack. Put in graphic terms, Heaven is laden with the good things lacking on Earth. I bring heaven down to my life by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. I do not keep worrying and thinking about the implications of the recession that the world is telling me. I do my work and pray to bring heaven down to earth for me. Think over this and the Holy Spirit will help you with understanding. 

PRAY: Dear Lord, help me to choose to fill my heart with things of good report that are in heaven with thanksgiving and not information on earth that will change.
