MY PARALLEL WORLDS 

”But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,“

GOOD DAY: There are some Christian clichés that we quote from the Bible but we don't know how to live in their reality. One of such is “I am seated with Christ in heavenly places”. What is the reality of this? I am seated in my kitchen right now yet I am seated with Christ in heavenly places; where am I really?  I know the earth and the kingdom of the world but I can't place a location to heaven. It is amazing that even science cannot put a location to heaven but heaven exists. It is the abode of God. However, I know what the situation in heaven is. To have a first-hand situation report of heaven, read Revelation chapters 19-20 in your spare time. In Luke 17:21, Jesus said the kingdom of God is within us. ”for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.“

Righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit are heart issues and so also are the cares of this world. It is which one I choose to nurture in my heart that determines where I am seated. So my parallel worlds are the heavenly kingdom and this world. In the body, I am here but in spirit, I am either here or in heaven. Think about this today and we see more tomorrow. 

PRAY: Dear Lord, help me to sit in the heavenly place no matter the pull of the world.
