IF THE LORD DOES NOT HELP YOU

”There was a great famine in Samaria; and behold, they besieged it, until a donkey’s head was sold for eighty shekels of silver, and a fourth of a kab of dove’s dung for five shekels of silver. As the king of Israel was passing by on the wall a woman cried out to him, saying, “Help, my Lord, O king!” He said, “If the Lord does not help you, from where shall I help you? From the threshing floor, or from the wine press?”“

GOOD DAY: Are we there or we are almost there? There was severe famine in Israel and women were killing their own children for food. There is a severe famine in Nigeria. The famine of  accountability, honesty, compassion and other good virtues. This has led to the famine of food leading to kidnappings and man eating man so to say. Like the woman said to the king, people are asking our leader to do something, WHAT CAN HE DO? What can anyone do except the Lord helps us and changes us from INSIDE OUT? Think about it. What can you do if you are the leader in a country where everyone is corrupt? We are very religious but there is something wrong with the way we practice our religion. It is for the love of our bellies. Sorry to say this but from shepherds to flock it is for our bellies. If God in His mercy does not help us, no one can.
