COME OUT OF GUILT AND JUDGMENT TRAIN 2
““Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder things of the past. Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.”
Isaiah 43:18-19 NASB1995
GOOD DAY: Today, God wants us to continue to see how to come out of the guilt train. He asks that you should not call to mind former things or ponder things of the past. Don't keep considering what you lost or how your life would have been if you had not made the mistake. You see I got over that by seeing every thought as a spiritual personality. Once any thought enters my mind that does not give me joy or encourage me to stand, walk and move forward, I talk to it to get out. God’s thoughts towards me are thoughts of good and not of evil. Unfortunately, thoughts do not seek your permission before they enter your mind. Some even sneak in pretending to be a good way forward and it is you who will see the feeling it gives you and tell it to come out. When guilt comes, tell spiritual personality Mr Guilt that you are forgiven and God does not remember the offense again because of JESUS.
JUST ANCHOR YOUR LIFE ON ANY BASIC WORD OF GOD THAT YOU WILL USE TO RESPOND TO THOUGHTS THAT COME TO YOUR MIND. My anchor is Jeremiah 29:11. Then, look at what new things God is doing in your life. Everyday is new and new mercies come up. Whether small or big, consider it as God’s way of taking you on to new life. These two principles have helped me to stabilize and have peace despite all the trials I have gone through. God loves you and will turn every mistake to good. Keep your gaze of the past and focus on the goodness you are getting today.PRAY: Dear Lord, please hold my head forward that I may stop looking back but following You where You are leading me. I am tired of being stuck in my past.
