LET GOD SORT OUT THE WICKED

LET GOD SORT OUT THE WICKED
Job 40:11-14 NASB1995
[11] Pour out the overflowings of your anger, And look on everyone who is proud, and make him low. [12] Look on everyone who is proud, and humble him, And tread down the wicked where they stand. [13] Hide them in the dust together; Bind them in the hidden place. [14] Then I will also confess to you, That your own right hand can save you.
GOOD DAY: You know what, many people are angry with God because He watches while the wicked prosper in their doings. It is not new. Even in Bible times, different accounts of people who felt like you feel now are recorded. You wonder why God allows the Naira to fall to one thousand to the dollar and inflation is beyond control. You wonder why God is still watching legislators buying the latest models of Highlanders for themselves when the masses are struggling to eat. You wonder how God watches and people are still throwing exorbitant parties in the midst of abject poverty. The list goes on and on then you become angry with God. I see the man Job and God in action. Job complained of how he was undeserving of his situation and God permitted him to throw his tantrums before answering. God used his situation to put mankind in his proper place. God did not create the world with man and so man cannot fully control it.
To all those who are either asking questions or feeling the winner in wickedness, you are very limited. Those feeling bad cannot humble the proud and wicked while the proud and wicked have no control over his breath of life. All said and done, God has the control so let us worship Him and patiently wait for Him to sort the wickedness of the wicked out. The irony of the whole situation is that neither the wicked nor the poor being affected by their wickedness has peace. The proud wicked man is not at ease that the poor still exist and laugh and are free. He is not satisfied that he can neither wipe them out nor make them worship him. Remember Haman and Mordecai in the book of Ruth. Let the comfort of God be your song in your situation.
Today’s exercise is: Leave whatsoever is making you mad at God or doubting His ability for Him to sort out. Tell yourself “Lord, Yours to deal with”.
PRAY: Dear Lord, please help me to know the limits of my ability and know that You are in control of everything.
