FINGERPRINTS OF GOD

After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered. Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”. ‭‭

GOOD DAY: When anything I am passionate about is not turning right and showing no signs of going in the right direction that I want when everything looks so certain I will succeed, I become cautious not to be fighting against God. The teachers of the Law in the full story above, (read it in the bible) thought they were correct and acting in accordance with the Law. Those in their midst who were wise and observant referred them to past occasions and warned them to desist. In the story of Balak in Numbers chapter 22, Balaam was moving with wrong intentions even after permitted Him to move with Balak’s messengers still did not see the fingerprints of God.I put the summary here

“The donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your donkey on which you have ridden all your life to this day? Have I ever been accustomed to do so to you?” And he said, “No.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the way with his drawn sword in his hand; and he bowed all the way to the ground.”

If you are frustrated in your venture, especially with the motive to destroy someone else, watch it. Look also at the story of Mordecai in the book of Esther as well and be instructed. When you see the fingerprint of God, then cease from your venture.

PRAY: Dear Lord, open my eyes to see your fingerprints and follow your footprints in my pursuits in life. Remove hatred and ill will against others from my heart.
