UNDERSTANDING SPIRITUAL POWER 2

For any work to be done by a device in nature, there must be the fuel giving the energy. For a car to move, there must be petrol or electricity which is processed to produce power. The word of God is the fuel as we saw two days ago. We will talk about another set of fuels for the spirit today  and see whàt power they have to affect our life. 

ENVY: A calm and peaceful and tranquil heart is life and health to the body, But passion and envy are like rottenness to the bones.

Proverbs 14:30 AMP

Envy ànd hot passion are like rottenness to the bone. This means that the person who is envious or jealous of other people's achievements or lifestyle, flows along with the energy of bone disease. Bone makes blood so envy can power blood disease as well.  Many people have testified to being healed of bone diseases when they were able to release envy and jealousy of their friend's achievements. Be happy with where you are, rejoice with others who are successful and you will have your own desires fulfilled.

ANGER: Do not be eager in your heart to be angry, For anger dwells in the heart of fools.

Ecclesiastes 7:9 AMP. Anger gives the energy to act as a fool. Who is a fool? Someone that says there is no God in his heart. The [spiritually ignorant] fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they have committed repulsive and unspeakable deeds; There is no one who does good. Psalms 14:1 AMP

If you harbor anger in your heart, you will become foolish acting like there is no God and becoming corrupt. Anger against leaders makes the governed foolish to be acting like there is no God and taking laws into their hands. This is the cause of riots and anarchy where people throw caution to the winds. 

LUST, ADULTERY AND FORNICATION: But whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks common sense and sound judgment and an understanding [of moral principles]; He who would destroy his soul does it. Wounds and disgrace he will find, And his reproach (blame) will not be blotted out.

Proverbs 6:32‭-‬33 AMP

Sexual lust comes with the energy of self destruction. It is a sin against oneself. Remember that Jesus expanded the scope of sexual sin to not just the phyßical act but the thought of it as well. So when you look at a man and consider lust with him or her in your heart, you have done it. If you notice that whatever you do gets destroyed, then do a soul search to see if sexual sin is fueling the destruction.

I leave you to do a search in the bible for all the possible emotions and motives that man can have and see what the bible calls their consequences. When we see our emotions and motives as empowerment for manifestations of tangible things in our lives, then it will be easy to deal with them. Invest some time in your spiritual life because the cause of all things is in the spirit. 

PRAY: Thank you Lord for understanding spiritual things. Grant me Your Holy Spirit to enable me renounce any negative motives and tendencies in me.
