HYMN O LORD MY GOD
April 13. Psalms ch 49-51
HYMN O LORD MY GOD
1 O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds thy hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed:
Refrain:
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to thee:
How great thou art! How great thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to thee:
How great thou art! How great thou art!
2 When through the woods and forest glades I wander
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees,
When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur,
And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze:
Refrain:
3 And when I think how God, his Son not sparing,
Sent him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on the cross, my burdens gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin:
Refrain:
4 When Christ shall come with shouts of acclamation,
To take me home, what joy will fill my heart!
Then I will bow in humble adoration,
And there proclaim, my God, how great thou art!
Refrain:
GOOD DAY: A look at nature is a good exercise to do when you are down so you can be revived in your faith. The shining cockroaches I see in my house from time to time convince me of the God of providence when the same house barely has food for the people to eat. Sing or read this hymn to appreciate God.
God, appreciated.
