GLIMPSE INTO SPIRIT REALM
May 3. Psalms ch 13-16
GLIMPSE INTO THE SPIRIT REALM
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment.
Revelation 21:4-6 ESV
GOOD DAY: Knowledge breeds desire and desire gives rise to power. So if you want to become empowered to do or have anything, seek the knowledge of the thing to boost your desire and desire which will lead to empowerment. Today, I am going to consider the knowledge of the spirit realm. I remember how the mental knowledge of the UK gave me a desire to visit the place which led to my working hard to pass my exams.
Now, what do you know about the spirit world? From the scripture for meditation today, heaven is a place where there is no sorrow, death will be no more so there is no mourning, there is no pain, no thirst, all tears are wiped away. These are things that I desire. The good thing and the mystery of it is I can enjoy all these benefits while I am here. How is that possible? Jesus was asked; “When will God’s kingdom come?” Jesus responded, “God’s kingdom does not come simply by obeying principles or waiting for signs. The kingdom is not discovered in one place or another, for God’s kingdom realm is already expanding within some of you.”
Luke 17:20-21 TPT The kingdom of God is already within us. It is in me. Apostle Paul put it more plainly, he said: So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 ESV
Our outer man and world that we see is wasting away but our inner self is being renewed. Our inner self is the kingdom of God. It is being renewed in knowledge. Then we focus on that because it is eternal while the body and this world are temporal. They are transient. It is like the kingdom of God is trapped in each one of us until the time God Himself separates us from this corruptible flesh. Listen to Apostle Paul again; So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand. For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin. Romans 7:21-25 ESV
Paul recognizes two worlds in him. The mind and the flesh or sin. I want you to meditate on this and we shall continue.
PRAY: Dear Lord, please give me a clear vision of heaven so that I will desire and live to be there when my time here is over.
