THE MOST IMPORTANT KNOWLEDGE
March 3. 1 Samuel ch 9-12
THE MOST IMPORTANT KNOWLEDGE IN LIFE.
“So let us know, let us press on to know the Lord. His going forth is as certain as the dawn; And He will come to us like the rain, Like the spring rain watering the earth.””
Hosea 6:3 NASB1995
“So let us know and become personally acquainted with Him; let us press on to know and understand fully the [greatness of the] Lord [to honor, heed, and deeply cherish Him]. His appearing is prepared and is as certain as the dawn, And He will come to us [in salvation] like the [heavy] rain, Like the spring rain watering the earth.””
Hosea 6:3 AMP
GOOD DAY: Man has exercised dominion over all tangible things both here on earth and in outer planets. He has traveled to space and deep under the belly of the earth but he has not been able to conquer the intangibles. There is no research that can be done into the realm of the spirit to produce the intangibles that make for living. Those intangibles include peace (very fundamental) love, joy and contentment. A person might be in control of all the tangible possessions that one can imagine yet if he does not have peace of mind, he feels he has nothing whereas a man with no tangible wealth but with peace of mind has everything. These intangible virtues that make life are only found in God.
Hosea admonished Israel when peace eluded them like it has eluded the world now. He asked them to go on to know God. They are to press on to know Him and be personally acquainted with Him. When you know Him and you become familiar with Him, He will heal you and heal the land. In the time of chaos, we need to pursue the knowledge of God. This becomes easy if we had been pursuing His knowledge even in the time of peace. It is the personal knowledge that GOD IS. That GOD EXISTS. It is done through personally obeying Him and experiencing Him. It is personally experiencing His peace in your time of chaos that proves to You that He exists. It is living and experiencing Psalm 34:8
“O taste and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!”
Psalms 34:8 NASB1995
I invite you to start pursuing the knowledge of God in specific things and keep a record of your experience to build your faith in the God that exists.
PRAY: Dear Lord, please teach me how I can seek You to know You.
