GOD'S IMAGINATION

February 17.     Joshua ch 2-5

OF IMAGE AND IMAGE 3 (GOD'S IMAGE)

But the wisdom from above is first pure [morally and spiritually undefiled], then peace-loving [courteous, considerate], gentle, reasonable [and willing to listen], full of compassion and good fruits. It is unwavering, without [self-righteous] hypocrisy [and self-serving guile].”‭      ‭James‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭AMP‬‬

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”

‭‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

GOOD DAY: The imagination of God tends towards life. The motives in James 3:17 are what God looks for in the heart of man. Where those motives are absent, then that imagination is from the thief who only comes to steal and kill and destroy. No matter how good the product of the imagination is to behold, it will lead to death because it is the product of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. When we think and imagine in line with James 3:17, then God is on our side and the world will have peace. It is unfortunate that when one person imagines outside of God’s format, the result of such fulfilled imagination affects many people if not the whole world. God says in Amos 3:3 "Can two people walk together unless they agree?" Unless a man's imagination agrees with God, God cannot be called to the rescue when man is eating the fruit of his choice. God summarizes by saying: "I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants, by loving the Lord your God, by obeying His voice, and by holding fast to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days, that you may live in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”   Deuteronomy 30:19‭-‬20 NASB1995

PRAY: Dear Lord, tune our hearts to choose life over death. Let us be obedient to Your voice.
