FREEDOM LIMITED TO KNOWLEDGE

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” ‭‭John‬ ‭8‬:‭31‬-‭32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

GOOD DAY. Many of us knew the importance of physical freedom during Covid 19 lockdown when we were restricted to our houses. In some parts of the world, after three days, restrictions were broken and people didn’t mind risking death by covid just to be free. We are however limited or restricted in our mind. Many if not most people cannot think outside a box. They wish to expand but the box of their minds restricts them. I have been there before. I felt frustrated and yielded to the dictates of situations in pain and frustration. Jesus has the good news for us. “You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.” Knowledge brings freedom. What is the truth? “They are not of the world, as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth.”

The word of God is truth. When you have knowledge of the word of God, it makes you free. One fundamental truth everyone must know is that man is made in the image and likeness of God and God dwells in man. Whoever catches this truth has freedom that makes all things possible because all things are possible with God. Knowledge of how to get God in you (Emmanuel) to work through you will make you free. Man invents when he works with God in him either consciously or unconsciously. One knowledge I will want you to have and meditate on today is: “Jesus answered them, “Isn’t it written in your scripture, I said, you are gods?” ‭‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭34‬ ‭HCSB‬‬
