The THEATER IN THE MIND (2)

And the king said unto Haman, The silver is given to thee, the people also, to do with them as it seemeth good to thee. And the letters were sent by posts into all the king's provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey.”‭    ‭Esther‬ ‭3‬:‭11‬, ‭13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

LOOK:

HAMAN’S LAST SCENE: Haman the strong man played his last scene in his mind deciding not only to kill Mordecai that refused to kneel for him but all the Jews. He played three agendas 1. To destroy, to kill, to cause to perish but he forgot God. Although not mentioned in the book of Esther, God had prepared deliverance for his people in the person of Esther from the hands of their enemy. Are you under attack by a privileged person with a final scene to destroy or make life unbearable for you, hold on to God and your own last scene. God is on your side as long as you are on His side. Next is the drama in the mind of Pharaoh.

“The enemy said, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire shall be gratified against them; I will draw out my sword, my hand will destroy them.’”

‭‭Exodus‬ ‭15‬:‭9‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

PHARAOH’S LAST SCENE

God had planned His last scene of setting the children of Israel free from bondage in Egypt. He performed different miracles to show His majesty and determination for Israel to be freed by Pharaoh. The last was the visitation by death of every firstborn in Egypt and the Israelites were sent out of Egypt in a hurry. Pharaoh on the other hand had his last scene in his mind as said in Exodus 15:9. He was dramatizing to pursue and overtake them then destroy them and share their goods. The Israelites were afraid when they saw the armed Pharaoh's army but God had His own drama to destroy the enemy. He made them pursue the Israelites and drowned them in the sea. As long as you are in tune with God in the drama of your mind, no matter the external reality that is presented, God's drama will prevail.

PRAY: Thank You Lord for having good thoughts towards me, Your child.
