FAITH, HOW IT WORKS

January 25.                Leviticus ch 7-10

IMAGINATION: HOW IT WORKS.

“Until now you have not asked [the Father] for anything in My name; but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy may be full and complete.”

‭‭John‬ ‭16‬:‭24‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“So the blind man shouted, “Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me!” Jesus stopped and told some people to bring the blind man over to him. When the blind man was getting near, Jesus asked, “What do you want me to do for you?” “Lord, I want to see!” he answered. Jesus replied, “Look and you will see! Your eyes are healed because of your faith.””‭    ‭Luke‬ ‭18‬:‭38‬, ‭40‬-‭42‬ ‭CEV‬‬

GOOD DAY. Like I said two days ago, I am just getting a clearer view and understanding of faith and how it works. We are learning together but what I have shared so far are what I have practiced and they have worked for me. Now Jesus said in John 16:24 said “ask and keep asking and you will receive so that your joy may be full.” Jesus was walking the streets of Jerusalem then. Now He is in the spirit yet we need to touch Him and ask as He has commanded us to because what He said remains true for ever. In His encounter with the blind man in Luke 18:40-42, he asked the blind man “what do you want me to do for you.” To which the blind man gave a specific answer "Lord, I want to see.". Jesus said he would see because his faith healed him. To the blind man Jesus was a physical man he could touch with his five senses. To me, Jesus is Spirit and He lives in me. I touch Him with my imagination which is the language of the spirit and I keep imagining  continuously until I receive in the spirit and I have joy. This means you cannot give up on your imagination until you feel the joy of fulfillment even when it is not yet manifested. The missing link is in not imagining to the point of getting joy.

That is the missing link that I have missed. Even when Jesus had to go through the cross, we saw what kept Him going. God answered Him and gave Him an imagination that gave Him joy. He kept His focus on the joy. God did not deny Jesus as we usually say but He answered Him just that the path to the fulfillment of His imagination to have many brothers and sisters in all those who will believe on His name was through the cross.

How God will work out the imagination is not my own to know. He has His ways and thoughts. His ways and timing may not be our own but He will give us joy even if it involves a cross and He will take us to our desire.

PRAY: Help me Lord to hold on to my imagination in the joy of fulfillment even when my eyes have not seen the object of my imagination fulfilled.
