LIVING ABOVE LIMITATIONS

November 30.  2 Corinthians ch 12- Galatians ch 1

                      LIVING BEYOND LIMITATIONS

Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.    Mark 11:23‭-‬24 NASB1995

GOOD DAY. I have received a lot of questions relating to how God expects us to survive in these hard times. In fact the hard times are not peculiar to any country, times are tough the world over by the facts. For the just person however, God says he shall live by his faith not necessarily by the facts or perception of his senses. Jesus gave us a clue to living beyond our limitations. It is living by prayer and belief.

Prayer we all know to be talking to God and we do a lot of that. Belief or faith is what I find that we do not understand. Jesus gave the dynamics of the faith that brings results. It is believing that you have received answer to your request and this can only be in your mind at first. This belief does not go by sight or sense feelings as it may not manifest immediately. You live your answered prayer in your imagination and play the drama of what you would be doing if the matter had been sorted in nature. This is where we miss it. I say we because I too am included until recently when I learnt this principle.

I applied for a scholarship that I need but my age disqualified me yet I want to run the course. The first three batches of successful applications came out but my name was not included. I remembered this scripture

Jesus  said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.”       John 20:29 NASB1995

I kept regarding myself in the classroom and relating happily with the younger students in my mind. I was having them teach me powerpoint presentations in my mind. A week to the commencement of the course, I got a letter that although I was not qualified for the scholarship, but they saw my interest in the course and they found a reason to bypass the law and award me the scholarship. I was not moved to do anything to facilitate any decision in my favor. I just kept up my mental drama of prayer answered.

This is to say that as you live your prayer answered in your imagination and you hold on to it no matter the facts of the matter, the answer will manifest.

PRAY: Dear Lord, teach me to hold and live the imagination of your love and faithfulness at all times.
