RECOGNISING THE FLESH OR NATURAL MAN - Jeremiah Ch 37-39

“Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: sexual immorality, impurity, indecent behavior, idolatry, witchcraft, hostilities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” Galatians 5:19-21 NASB.

GOOD MORNING. Ideas like we saw in Genesis 3:1-7. God asked Adam who told him he was naked when he hid from God. “And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Genesis 3:11 NASB.

We will always have to identify what spirit or motive gives you the idea that you are meditating on. I am looking at the flesh or nature first because we are used to the natural. It has been man's default setting since after the fall. Which of the emotions stated in the scripture above do you recognise working in you at any particular time? Whichever one operates in you gives you ideas and you think on the idea from the eye of the particular emotion and act as it directs you. If your motivation is from any of these emotions, your actions will be evil and you cannot enjoy the kingdom of God benefits.

PRAY: Dear Lord, search me and cleanse me from all works of the natural self.
